freeipmi-ipmiseld software package provides GNU IPMI - IPMI node detection tool, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freeipmi-ipmiseld
freeipmi-ipmiseld is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freeipmi-ipmiseld package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freeipmi-ipmiseld *
You will get with freeipmi-ipmiseld package name, version, architecture and description in a table
